“I Am Leaving Office With Nigeria Better In 2023 Than In 2015” – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the economy of the country has become more resilient due to various strategies put in place to ensure that the economy remained afloat during cases of global economic downturns .

He applauded his administration’s quick economic response to the pandemic as a global best practice, as millions of Nigerians in the rural areas earned the ability to earn a living.

Buhari said that to sustain the gains , Nigerians should be more vigilant and support the security agencies by being their brothers’ keepers.

He stated that he grieves for children still in captivity, and mourns with all that have lost loved ones in the days of the senseless brigandage and carnage , as security agencies are still working to rescue them . However, he also maintained that he has been able to considerably reduce the incidences of banditry, terrorism, armed robberry and other criminal activities

President Buhari said that the nation’s democracy is built on , and will continue to thrive on the principles of separation of powers as he commended the National Assembly members for their patriotism.

He also appreciated all Nigerians who have in diverse ways supported his administration in words and prayers.

President Buhari reiterated fulfilment on leaving Nigeria better in 2023 than in 2015.
