Usman Baba, inspector-general of police (IGP), has confirmed the appointment of Olumuyiwa Adejobi as the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
In February, Adejobi was appointed in acting capacity after Frank Mba, the former spokesperson, proceeded for a course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos.
In a statement on Tuesday, Anjuguri Manzah, admin officer, force public relations department, announced that Baba confirmed the appointment of Adejobi as the 25th indigenous force spokesperson.
Prior to the recent appointment, Adejobi served as Lagos police spokesperson between September 2020 and August 2021.
