
The acting Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) , Hilary Madu, has charged Corps personnel to justify their salary and mandates by providing measures against any form of attack on the nation and it’s citizenry.
He made the comment in Abuja in a news conference, where he also pointed out that all hands must be on deck in tackling the current security challenges confronting the nation, especially the Herders/farmers crisis. He tasked the Agro Rangers Unit to step up their game to protect farmers and their investments.
He also maintained that his tenure as the acting Comptroller General would develop strategies that will eliminate the destruction of pipelines which usually lead to deadly fire incidents.
He also urged all the members of the Corps to rekindle their obligation to duty, redouble their efforts to justify the mandate given to them.
Speaking on Covid-19, he tasked the staff of the security agency to always adhere to Covid-19 protocols, while warning against indiscipline.
