A man on Monday lost his life while five others sustained varying degrees of injury in alone fatal crash at Agulu lake bridge in Anambra State.
The crash which occurred around 4.30 pm, by Nanka Agulu road involved a white Mack Trailer with registration number: ABN625YN.

According to an eyewitness, the driver of the trailer loaded with bags of rice was descending the Agulu hill when he suddenly lost control following brake failure.
The eyewitness also stated that the trailer skidded off the road following the brake failure with a passenger falling to his death.

Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Adeoye Irelewuyi, confirming the incident attributed the cause of the crash to brake failure which led to the loss of control.
He commiserated with the family of the deceased, urging the motoring public to give full concentration to driving and also ensure their vehicles were in good condition before hitting the road.
