Saturday 22nd Jan 2022 will forever remain pleasant for Mr. Charles Ugochukwu, a blind man, from Amichi in Nnewi South LGA, Anambra State.
Mr. Charles Ugochukwu is a regular caller to the famous Caring and Helplines Foundation programme on ABS which airs every Sunday, where he called in to solicit for financial assistance to facilitate his marriage expenses.
He said that his would-be wife is from Abia State and according to him, she is the only girl that accepted to marry him regardless of his present condition.
He has gone for introduction and as well collected the marriage list.
Following his request for assistance, two ambassadors of the programme were sent to authenticate his claims by the founder of Caring and Helpline Foundation a.k.a Careless Whispers, Prince Emeka Kalu, the magic fingers.
It was learnt that the family of the girl has agreed their daughter would go and live with Mr. Ugochukwu as a wife only when her price has been paid as she won’t be valued in her husband’s place without bride price.
Mr Ugochukwu was given some sum of money for his upkeep by Prince Emeka pending when ambassadors of the program would raise enough money to support Mr Ugochukwu’s wedding plans.
