Politicians in Anambra State irrespective of party affiliations have been asked to join hands with Governor Willie Obiano to move the state forward.
The Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor, who made the call in his New Year Message, has assured that the state legislature will continue to enact laws that would improve the living standards of the people.
He also urged various religious bodies to continue to pray for the continuous peace and progress of the state as well as peaceful conduct of the state Governorship election coming up later in the year.
Right Honourable Okafor further enjoined security operatives, traditional rulers and Presidents-General to assist in ensuring adequate security in their communities, describing 2021 as a year with great prospects.
