The Nigeria Labour Congress has called for an immediate reversal of the privatization of the power sector stating that the move has failed, and five years down the line, nothing has improved.

Speaking at the union’s National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja on Friday, NLC President, Mr. Ayuba Wabba emphasized that the original aim of the privatization to enhance Power stability and affordability had been defeated.

The NLC also decried the delay in the signing of the electoral amendment bill into law, adding as well that it would not hesitate to resort to protests if there was an increase in the price of petrol come 2022.
