Update on COVID-19 shows that Nigeria yesterday, recorded 198 new cases of Coronavirus.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, in its update said that the 198 new cases were recorded as follows-:
FCT -53
Lagos-48
Ogun-40
Akwa Ibom-20
Bauchi-9
Plateau-8 and
Kaduna-5.
Others are,
Kano-4
Benue-3
Jigawa-3
Nasarawa-3
Edo-1 and
Kwara-1
According to the Center, till date, 66,805 confirmed cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in the country.
Of this number, 62,493 cases have been treated and discharged.
It further informed that 1,169 deaths have also been recorded.
