The Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Burundi, Dr Elijah Onyeagba, has charged Nigerians living in other countries to jettison behaviors and acts capable of portraying the Nigerian Nation in bad light.
Speaking in a telephone interview with our correspondent, on the occasion of this year’s Eid El Maulud, Ambassador Onyeagba regretted that many Nigerians in other countries are engaging on illegitimate dealings there by giving Nigeria a bad image.
He affirmed that he has always be in touch with Nigerians in the Republic of Burundi, educating and enlightening them to strengthen the bilateral relationship between Nigeria and the Republic.
Ambassador Onyeagba, while charging Muslim Faithful to use the period of this year’s Eid El Maulud to pray for the peaceful conduct of the 2023 General Elections, extended his felicitations to President Muhammadu Buhari, members of the national assembly, state governors and members of the diplomatic corp.
