Anambra billionaire Linus Williams Ifejika, known as BLord, was arrested by Nigerian police on Tuesday in Abuja. The arrest follows allegations of cryptocurrency fraud, to terrorism funding, and aiding internet fraud.

BLord, the MD of BLord Group, including BLord Real Estate and Billpoint Technology, faces multiple charges after complaints were lodged against his companies.

Police Force spokesperson ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi confirmed the investigation, stressing the importance of cybersecurity in Nigeria.

This is not BLord’s first run-in with the law; he was previously acquitted of similar charges in 2022.
