Nigerians have called out to President Bola Tinubu to address the nation on current issues bedeviling the nation such as hunger, transportation costs , health care , increase in poverty as has been more evident since the removal of fuel subsidy. Some have equally questioned the essence of the removal of the fuel subsidy if it is making the poor poorer .
On twitter, a user known as POOJa tweeted that President Bola Tinubu should address Nigerians now as hunger is walking on the streets of Nigeria. In response to that, another user known as MIDDLE CHILD , argued that addressing the nation will not fill the belly of hungry Nigerians as what is needed is positive action.
On Facebook, a user, Chigozie Dire said that from all indications, there is no labour union in Nigeria again and the masses are on their own waiting endessly and hopelessly for the renewed hope. Another user, Lawrenzo De Light blamed how previous governments have overlooked fixing the refineries which would have saved the country from any fuel problem but instead the National Assembly is talking about money for furniture and bullet proof cars, instead of using the funds to fix the refineries.
