The Chairman of Okachamma Age in Namkpu Village Mbaukwu Awka South Council Area Of Anambra State, Mr. Jude Chiaku has said that issues surrounding the Age grade’s nomenclature has been settled and henceforth, the new name of the Age shall be called Okachamma Age grade.
Mr Chiaku disclosed this on Wednesday, September 6th 2023 to Kpakpando Correspondent, Udoka Nwokoye Hoffman after hours of stakeholders meetings with the Age grades alongside other other Age Grades and the Village heads.
He explained that the Age had been experiencing some minor faultline in the past as a result of poor harmonisation.
He revealed that some of the policies and programmes of Ifunanya Age grade didn’t not achieved the anticipated results as expected from onset, which he pointed out was as a result of some observable irregularities.
While thanking the Namkpu Chairman of all Chairmen, Hon. Innocent Nwafor, Chairman of all Age grades in Namkpu for their concerns and intervention in the misunderstanding, Mr Chiaku assured that Okachmma Age grade has emerged better and has replaced its former unproductive policies and programmes with a newer policies anchored on twenty-first century rearities, hence the name Okachmma Age Grade.
He also affirmed Okachmma’s unalloyed commitment to any projects, policies and programmes that will be birthed to see Namkpu Village move to the next level.
