The Ondo State Government has established a security joint task force to address rising insecurity, following recent attacks that claimed multiple lives.

Speaking in Akure on Sunday, Amotekun Commander, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, said the task force, initiated by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa—comprises all security agencies.

He also disclosed that 32 suspected kidnappers were arrested in forest areas across four local governments, following joint security efforts.

The state plans to set up security posts in affected areas to prevent future attacks, as concerns grow over the safety of farmers and rural dwellers.
