Pastor Runs Mad While Praying For A Mad Man [Video ]
A shocking incident unfolded in the Oke- Ado area of Ibadan, Oyo State, on Thursday when a pastor reportedly lost his sanity while praying to heal a mentally unstable man.
The unusual event, which took place along Molete Road, attracted a large crowd of onlookers, including shop owners and automobile dealers, who watched in disbelief.
Even said the pastor named Timothy, arrived at Ososami Junction in Oke- Ado at 5: 20 pm and approached the mentally challenged man known as Tunde, who was sitting in front of a building and started praying for him.
A shop owner identified as Semiu, who witnessed the event, recounted that the pastor immediately started reading the Bible upon spotting Tunde. As he moved closer, he placed his hands on the mad man’ s head and began praying fervently. The prayer session soon escalated into a heated exchange between the two men. The pastor, determined to deliver Tunde from his mental affliction, raised his voice and prayed even more intensely. This dramatic prayer session reportedly lasted for over 15 minutes.
Another witness, an okada rider, explained that at one point as the pastor was praying, Tunde forcefully removed the pastor’s hand from his head, and shortly after, an unexpected turn of events occurred— something seemingly took hold of Pastor Timothy, and he began acting erratically, stripping off his clothes and lying completely naked on the ground.
He then started speaking in an incomprehensible language, while foam reportedly oozed from his mouth, suggesting that he had lost control of his faculties.
This peculiar event left many questioning the nature of the interaction between the pastor and Tunde. Some speculated that the mad man possessed a supernatural force that overwhelmed the pastor, while others suggested that the pastor’s actions might have triggered an internal crisis within himself.
The story serves as a reminder of the mysteries surrounding mental health, spirituality, and faith healing. It is also not known whether Pastor Timothy has received any medical or spiritual intervention following the incident.
