Six men, including Mathias Pogba, brother of French football star Paul Pogba, will stand trial in a kidnapping and extortion case involving the Juventus player. The trial comes after a two-year investigation into the 2022 incident, where Paul Pogba was allegedly kidnapped by two men who demanded 13 million euros.

Prosecutors claim the group meticulously planned the attack, while Mathias is accused of pressuring his brother afterward. All the accused deny the charges, claiming they were victims of armed robbers. Paul Pogba has also faced allegations of using a witch doctor to curse fellow footballer Kylian Mbappe, claims he has denied.

Paul Pogba is currently serving a four-year ban from football for doping.
