PENGASSAN Pegs Petrol Price At N360/N400 After Subsidy Removal

Festus Osifo, the President of The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has told Nigerians that a litre of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS , will likely sell between 360 naira and 400 naira after the subsidy removal.

Speaking to newsmen after the National Executive Council meeting of the association which held in Abuja on Tuesday, Osifo said that currently,the sole importer of PMS into the country is the NNPC and using the exchange rate of the CBN , fuel will amount to, between 360 and 400 naira. Currently, a lite of petrol is sold at someparts of the country at 184 pump price.

Osifo said that they will keep monitoring their members nationwide to ensure they keep up to quality standards as licences will be withdrawn from members found guilty of hoarding fuel .
