Fuel prices in Nigeria are expected to keep declining until June 2025. This is according to financial expert Bismarck Rewane.
Speaking on Channels Television, Rewane attributed the price drop to falling global crude oil prices and increased competition between Dangote Refinery and the NNPCL. Both companies have recently reduced fuel prices, easing the burden on consumers.
Dangote Refinery now sells petrol for as low as ₦825 per litre, while NNPCL has also dropped prices to ₦860 per litre in Lagos.
Rewane predicts that fuel costs will continue to fall until June, after which market stability will depend on global oil and currency fluctuations.
