Police find child suspected to have been trafficked from Benue State

Anambra State Police Command said on 22nd of May, one Gabriel Tehrile, aged about 12 years from Egbeji Zakibiam in Benue State, was brought to Nnobi Police Station, Idemili South Council Area, by a good Nigerian.

Accordìng to the State Police Public Relations Officer,  Mr Haruna Mohammed, Preliminary investigation revealed that the Child was brought from Benue State to Anambra by his traffickers, last week, but the boy ran away from the supposed guardian and all efforts to contact his relations proved difficult.

Mr Haruna appealed to the media to dessiminate the massage to enable the biological parents or close relatives of the child identify him.

The PPRO also appealed to  anyone with useful information about the found child to report at Nnobi Divisional Police Station or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command, through GSM no 08060970639.
