Police operatives in Anambra have nabbed a notorious tricycle snatcher in Ọba, Idemili South LG.

The arrest was made on Friday at about 6 am, after police operatives attached to Oba division in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State arrested one Eze Chukwuma ‘m’ aged 24years, resident at Oba but a native of Nachi Community in Udi LGA of Enugu State following a distress call.
The suspect allegedly shot a Keke rider on his forehead and snatched hijacked his tricycle at gun point.
The victim was rushed to the hospital for medical attention and is responding to treatment.
Meanwhile, the suspect has voluntarily confessed to the crime and one locally made pistol and the snatched tricycle have been recovered.
Investigation is ongoing after which the Suspect would be brought to justice.
