In the address marking Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day on Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu has emphasized the need for the country to reform or risk collapse.
He pointed out that his administration, which took over 16 months ago, has already made significant reforms to the economy and defense.
Tinubu cited over $30 billion in foreign direct investments and efforts to clear inherited debt. Additionally, he highlighted progress in security, with over 300 Boko Haram and bandit commanders eliminated.
The President also announced a National Youth Conference and stressed the importance of addressing the nation’s economic challenges.
