Prof. Nnorom takes off as Coou’s 1st dean,Faculty of Education

The Dean, Faculty of Education, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam Campus Professor Nneka Nnorom, has promised to take the Faculty to the next level.

Speaking after her election as the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Nnorom listed her priorities to include staff welfare and the development of human and physical infrastructure.

She expressed delight at the rich cultural curricula of the faculty which includes entrepreneurial education, and charged graduates from the faculty to take advantage of the skills acquired to find decent sources of livelihood for themselves.

The Dean commended governor Chukwuma Soludo for his recent employment of 5,000 teachers which portrays him as education friendly.

She also commended the governor for his giant development strides and urged the citizenry to exercise patience with him as he unfolds his development blueprint.

Prof. Nnorom further acknowledged the cordial relationship between the state government and the University under its hard working Vice Chancellor, Professor Greg.Nwakoby, and hoped that the synergy will enhance the subvention given to the institution.

Prof. Nnorom also used the forum to appreciate her husband and former state lawmaker Chief Theo Nnorom, and the people of Mbosi and the university community for their unparalleled support towards her academic success (MOI)
