Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has unveiled the #OneNigeria/UnityFabric, a national symbol designed to promote unity. The winning design, created by 25-year-old University of Ibadan graduate Mofinyinfoluwa Bamidele, was selected from 111 entries in a competition organized by the Renewed Hope Initiative. Bamidele received ₦25 million as her prize.

According to report, the initiative, inspired by Tinubu’s visit to Zimbabwe, aims to foster national pride and celebrate Nigeria’s cultural diversity. The fabric will be mass-produced locally and worn nationwide during the upcoming Independence Day celebrations on October 1.
