Rivers Police Arrest 4 Suspects Over Missing Corps Member
Rivers State Police Command has arrested four suspects in connection with the disappearance of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Yahaya Faruq.
Faruq, who was serving in Ikuru Town, Andoni LGA of Rivers State, mysteriously disappeared after reporting for work last week.
The spokesperson of Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, who confirmed the report, notified that an investigation is underway to unravel the circumstances surrounding the corps member’s sudden disappearance.
She said the police acted immediately, detaining the suspects as part of their probe into the case.
Mr Faruq’s unexplained disappearance has raised worries within the community, particularly among other NYSC members.
However, the authorities are intensifying efforts to locate the missing corps member. They have called for information from the public that could aid the investigation.
