Meanwhile, in Kenya, anti-government protests entered their sixth week with clashes between demonstrators and pro-government groups. Protesters, demanding President Ruto’s resignation and reform, faced increased police presence and heightened security at key locations, including Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The unrest in Kenya has resulted in at least 50 deaths and hundreds of injuries, with authorities pledging to end the violence.
