A severe rainstorm hit several communities in Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State, causing significant damage.
Over 70 houses and barns were destroyed, with roofs blown off and several buildings collapsing in Mabudi, Sabon Gida, and other affected areas.
Residents of these communities expressed concern over the destruction, urging the Plateau State Government for immediate assistance.
The council chairman, Hon. Nanfa Nbin, confirmed the incident and reported that the local Emergency Management Committee has already visited the affected households.
