The Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has described the church as eternal partner of his administration.
Governor declared this on Thursday 4th April 2024 when he attended a holy Mass, presided by the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev’d. Dr. Paulinus Ezeokafor, assisted by the Diocesan Chancellor Very Rev. Fr Ndubuisi during the opening ceremony of Novitiate House for the Sisters of Jesus The Saviour.
The Catholic Bishop of Portharcourt Diocese, Most Reverend Camillus Archibong Etokudoh, the diocese where the Novitiate house was moved from to Isuaniocha, was also in attendance.
Speaking, Prof. Soludo represented by his Deputy Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim, maintained that the state government’s readiness in partnering with the sisters of Jesus the saviour and assuring them of their safety throughout their stay in Anambra.
Dr. Ibezim also elaborated on the various developmental strategies of Soludo’s Administration including recent completed over 25 kilometres of tarred roads by Soludo’s administration since creation of man.
The mother General of the Novitiate House, in her address, eulogised the efforts of the Bishop and Very Rev Fr. Ndubuisi for their their spiritual enrichment.
She equally poured economium on the government of Prof. Soludo for massive road infrastructure in Awka North LGA, a development she said has placed their host community Isuaniocha, on the world map.
