Solution FC of Awka continued their impressive home form with a determined 1-0 victory over Godswill Akpabio FC on Saturday at the Awka Township Stadium.
A decisive moment came in the 55th minute when Valentine Ugwu capitalized on a rebound from a spot kick, securing the all-important goal that ensured the Solution Boys claimed maximum points.
Despite a spirited challenge from Akpabio FC, the home team showed resilience and tactical discipline, maintaining their lead until the final whistle.
Reacting to the hard-fought win, Romanus Chinonso, an attacking midfielder and the Man of the Match, expressed satisfaction with the result. He emphasized the team’s collective resolve to approach every game with the mindset that their league ambitions depend on each performance.
