Abia State House of Assembly has denied rumors of any plans to impeach Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
Speaking to journalists after a meeting with Governor Ikpeazu at the Governor’s Lodge, Aba, the Deputy Speaker, Ifeanyi Uchendu said that the rumor that has gone viral on social media is false.
Solomon Akpulonu and Chukwu Chijioke, Majority and Minority leaders respectively described the rumor as a figment of the imagination of the purveyors of the rumour.
They stated that they have no issues with the governor as he has done well in the state and there is no need for impeachment.
