Report from Lagos on Tuesday had it that many students were feared dead following a ghastly motor accident.
The incident which took place in the Ojodu area of Lagos , along Isheri road involved students from Ojodu Grammar School. According to reports, the accident was as the result of activities of Road Safety and Vehicle Inspection Officers VIO, which caused an articulated vehicle to lose control and ran into the students.
Following the incident, people took to the road in protest of the loss of the students, with students attacking and destroying trucks and vehicles belonging to the VIO office in the area.
It took the arrival of the Police and other security personnel for peace to be restored in the area.
