The body of Late Mr. Joshua Alagbu has been laid to rest in his father’s compound in Ndiagu village Mbaukwu Awka South Council Area of Anamabra State.
The diseased reportedly died on 20th January as a result of preventable recklessness, when the diseased went under his car to inspect a job done by a mechanic and the Mechanic , apparently not knowing that somebody was underneath the car, moved the car and crushed him to death.
Late Joshua was later rushed to a nearby hospital but couldn’t make it as his critical organs for survival including spinal cord have been severely damaged. Joshua was aged 29.
In a sermon during the burial, the Parish Priest in charge Saint John Anglican church Mbaukwu, Venerable Chukwuma Oranye described Late Joshua as a young boy full of vision, intelligence and aspiration.
He urged the Parents and siblings and those pained by the sorrowful departure to find a way to squeeze in consolation and take solace in numerous beautiful moment and keepsakes the diseased left behind while alive.
Noting that this is not the best way to commence the year, Venerable Oranye also prayed God to shelter His children and not allow such a untimely tragedy to befall the family again.
In the meantime, the family has commended the youths of Mbaukwu for their solidarity before and during the burial.
The Youths courtesy of Ndiagu Village Chairman, Mr Chinedu Ugochukwu had organized candle night prosession for the Late Geologist a night before burial and also organized the participate and assist the family during the burial.
In response, the family thanked the St. John’s Anglican church family, Sister’s Fellowship International and host of friends and well wisher for their presence, word of encouragement and logistical support, and prayed God to grant all journey mercy back to their various destinations.
