
The Honorable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has issued a statement addressing concerns surrounding the alleged misuse of public funds by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Nigeria.

He said that in response to the allegations, the President has directed a thorough investigation to verify reported details, emphasizing the government’s commitment to addressing any identified breaches in line with accountability and due process.
He emphasized that the Ministry, led by him serves as the authoritative source for verified information, pledging to share only accurate details with the public. He said that timely updates on the investigation’s progress will be provided to keep Nigerians informed.
Hon Idris urged the public to exercise patience as the government focuses on ensuring a fair and transparent process, with findings communicated openly once concluded.
