Today is World AIDS Day, Set Aside By WHO To Check The Spread Of AIDS

Today is World AIDS Day.

The World Health Organization, WHO, declared every First December, World AIDS Day.

It is a day set aside by WHO to create further awareness on the disease and the need for concerted efforts to check the spread.

This year’s theme for World AIDS Day is Equalize. United To Equalize Against AIDS,… “Rock the Ribbon.”

The National AIDS Trust says it is committed to stopping new cases of HIV, securing the rights of people living with HIV, and fighting HIV stigma and discrimination.
