The Dean, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Professor Ifeanyi Enete, says the faculty will work towards improving the university’s ecosystem.
Professor Enete who gave the indication while chatting with the press in office, said it will also improve on its tree planting campaign which he pioneered when he was the Sub Dean of the faculty.
According to the academia, the faculty will improve the natural habitat located within Geology Department, Water Resources Department, and the Management Building of the university where monkeys reside.
Professor Enete noted that the World Environmental Day is coming up in June, this year with the theme, “Ecosystem Restoration’, and called on all to join hands in protecting the environment.
