Women have been urged to raise their Children in fear of God

At the just concluded 2023 Mbaukwu Archdeaconry Women conference hosted by St. Lawrence Anglican Parish Mbaukwu but held at  St Paul’s church in Ogba Village, Women have been urged to raise their Children in fear of God so as to grow up and be a valuable addition to the  church and society

The 2023 conference which started with Holy communion service, was officiated by Ven Nehemiah Ikechukwu Ugoagu of Mbaukwu Archdeaconry alongside many other Venerables and Clergies of the church.

In his Sermon during the conference, Venerable Ikechukwu who dwelled on the conference theme,  “You shall eat the fruit of your Labour” , charged and made the Women to know that for this to be achieved, their Children must be raised in righteousness and in overall fear of God.

He explained that godly children when they grow up, exemplify those virtues that were inculcated in them and go on to live their lives to revolve round problem-solving for the church and society.

The head of Mbaukwu Archdeaconry also prayed God to grant the women long life in good health, so that they can enjoy the fruit of their labours.

Most Revd. Chibuzo Ibezim who joined the conference from other Archdeaconry Conferences holding simultaneously across the dioses, commended the women for organizing themselves in orderly and colorful manner, describing it is a pointer that their Leaders at the Archdeaconry level is doing a great job.

Archbishop Ibezim while urging women to sustain those godly and supportive virtues they were know for, also prayed God to give them long life to enjoy the rewards from their Children.

The Vice President of the Archdeaconry, Mrs Adaora Ugoagu in her address of welcome, thanked the men of the Archdeaconry for fatherly roles in their respective families, commending them for supporting several women projects both in the church  and Society.

She concluded by commending Mrs Martha Ibezim , the wife of the Archbishop for her several motherly advice and supports to the women ,also prayed God to replenish her in all ramifications.

Presentation of 2023 Conference mother, Mrs Regina Nnebedum and Seed of Faith by Ven Chuma Oranye were some of the memorable points of the conference.

The conference was concluded by women Thanksgiving sequencially done parish by parish, with St Peter’s Church Mbaukwu, Ebenezer Church Umuawulu, St Mary Mbaukwu, St John Church Mbaukwu, St Jude’s Church Isiagu, among others all in attendance.
