This was disclosed by Prof Theresa Obiekezie, Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy during a media interaction to mark 2020 International youth day.

Prof Obiekezie called on leaders to always involve young people in policy making.

She decried job losses caused by Covid-19 while urging Anambra youths to key into the ministry’s programs on youth empowerment.

Prof Obiekezie commended the State governor Chief Willie Obiano,for his youth friendly polices and appointments.

The commissioner stated that the, One youth One Skill, of the ministry has successful trained over 700 youths in Anambra in skills like,event management,software application, POP,Tiling, Cosmetology and solar installation.

On his part,the Anambra state coordinator national youth service corp, Mr Aremu Kehinde called on youths to always exhibit good virtues as leaders of tomorrow.
