The Anambra State Police Command is informing indigenes of Anambra State who applied for the 2021 recruitment exercise that the Physical Screening Exercise is scheduled to hold from Tuesday, the 1st of February to Sunday, 20th February 2022, at 8AM daily, at Dora Akunyili Women Development Center, Awka.
To that effect, the statement signed by Tochukwu Ikenga, the command’s spokesperson stated that candidates are to check their application status on the recruitment portal, www.policerecruitment.gov.ng and print out their application profile page. They are also advised to appear at the screening venue in their clean white T-shirts and shorts with the following mandatory requirements:
i. National Identity Card/Slip
ii. Printout of Application Profile page (as obtained from the portal) and
iii. Original and photocopies of their credentials.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force has listed the Local Government Area schedule dates for the Physical Screening of the recruitment exercise.
According to the release by DSP Tochukwu Ikenga:
The 1ST of FEBRUARY, 2022 is the date for
Aguata, Awka North, Awka South, Anambra East.
2ND FEBRUARY, 2022, those from
Anambra West, Anaocha, Anyamelu, Dunkofia are to be screened,
3RD FEBRUARY, 2022 will be the date for
Ekwusigo, Idemili North, Idemili South, Ihiala, Njikoka,
4TH FEBRUARY, 2022 is for
Nnewi North, Nnewi South, Ogbaru,
while 5TH FEBRUARY, 2022is for
Onitsha North, Onitsha South, Orumba North, Orumba South, Oyi.
The Command further advised concerned candidates to stick to their allotted date and time as the exercise would be carried out in strict compliance with COVID-19 protocols.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Echeng Echeng also reiterated that the recruitment exercise is absolutely free of charge, assuring that medical screening will as well be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and professionalism as and when due.
He advised the applicants not to allow themselves to be swindled by online fraudsters and other criminal elements, who might want to take advantage of the recruitment process to defraud innocent applicants and citizens.
