The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Gowdin Emefiele, has again failed to appear before the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
Recall that the House had invited Emefiele to come and explain the latest CBN policy of setting bank withdrawal limits , among other issues.
In his absence, the Deputy Governor, Corporate Services CBN, Edward Adamu wrote to the House to notify them that the Governor was out of town on official assignment with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Following some deliberations , the House thereby resolved that Godwin Emefiele should appear before the lawmakers on Thursday.
