The Commisioner for Transport, Honourable Afam Mbanefo, has met with Drivers Union, Park Managers and other stakeholders for the second time in two weeks.
The highlight of the meeting was generation of all the legal tickets payable by each association.
In his remarks, the Commissioner restated that collection of legal tickets is only allowed in Parks or loading bay and not on moving vehicles.
Commissioner Mbanefo said that harmonized tickets will be subjected to Anambra internal revenue screening to determine the legal ones, which will then be published, warning that any not on the list becomes illegal.
He revealed that his ministry is determined to stop all illegal tickets on Anambra roads .
The meeting which held at the Jerome Udorji Secretariate, Awka, had in attendance Union of Park managers, Drivers Union, Political appointees, and staff members of the ministry.
