Nigerian Army Retires 15 Generals From The Artillery Corps

In a significant military reshuffle, the Nigerian Army has retired 15 generals from the Artillery Corps, including 11 Major Generals and 4 Brigadier Generals.

The retirement ceremony took place on October 19 at the Nigerian Army School of Artillery in Kaduna State.

During the event, retired Major General James Myam expressed gratitude for their military careers and acknowledged the support of President Bola Tinubu and the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Taoreed Lagbaja.

He urged current officers to remain loyal to the Constitution and maintain vigilance. The retirement marks a notable transition within the Army as it continues to adapt to evolving security challenges.
