PDP Under The Auspices Of Oganiru Anambra Drums Up Massive Support For Mr Valentine Ozigbo.

An extraordinary meeting of the elders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)under the auspices of Oganiru Anambra held on Friday, 6th August, 2021 at New Orleans Hotel, Awka.

The meeting was convened to discuss the way forward for the party and review events that took place before and after the party’s primary election which held at Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Center, Awka on June 26,2021.

Following the outcome of the meeting, the elders once again congratulated the elected Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Mr Valentine Chineto Ozigbo and the Deputy Governorship candidate , Dame Azuka Enemuo.

Unalloyed loyalty and total support for Mr Valentine Ozigbo, the flagbearer of the party for the November 6 , Anambra election was declared and stamped by the elders.

On the other hand, the elders urged all PDP party faithfuls to extend their support to the candidate and to the party as well, so to ensure their victory in the November 6,2021 governorship election.

It also asked the National Working Committee and National Executive of the the party to wade in and give clear directives with special regards to the state leadership of the party as it concerns its earlier decision and subsequent judgement of the Court of Appeal, Abuja.

The elders also tasked all the members of the party in the state and National and state Legislators elected on the platform of the party to rally round the leadership and elected governorship flagbearer of the party, Mr Valentine Ozigbo , by mobilising Ndi Anambra to ensure the victory of the party come November 6th. In the same vein, the elders also asked the Campaign Organisation to reach out to every strata of the party to ensure the unity of the party as unity is the strongest force they need to progress. They also appreciated the effort Mr Valentine Ozigbo has put in through bringing together members of the party from the grassroots.

The elders also said that to dissuade PDP members in Anambra state from attending other political party meetings, the National leadership of the party should close ranks immediately and take the necessary steps.

The elders rose from the meeting confident that if all these measures expressed in their communique are followed through, they will be successful come November 6th.

The communique was signed by over seventy PDP elders from the 21 local government areas in Anambra state among whom are Chief Okey Muo Aroh, Chief Evang KG Enemuo, Chief Ugochukwu Adilieje , amongst others.
