The Taraba State Government has officially renamed and remodeled the Taraba Government House as T.Y. Danjuma House, in honor of the elder statesman and his significant contributions to the state’s development.
Deputy Governor Alhaji Aminu Alkali, who chaired the organising committee, announced that the renaming is a gesture of appreciation for Danjuma’s efforts in nation-building and his pivotal role in advancing Taraba State.
During the inauguration of the newly remodelled T.Y. Danjuma House on Friday, General T.Y. Danjuma expressed gratitude for the recognition, calling it a morale booster. He pledged to continue attracting development to the state and urged for unity across political, tribal, and religious lines to support Governor Kefas’ administration.
This comes after Danjuma also commissioned an ultra-modern mortuary facility, which he donated to the Federal Medical Centre in Jalingo.
