The Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism Comrade Don Onyenji has called on the traditional institutions to uphold truth in resolving disputes within their Communities to ensure peace and stability in the society.
The Commissioner made the call during the presentation of membership certificates to the Nze na ozo society in Nsukwu Abatete Idemili North local Government Area.
The event which was organized with the slogan, Eziokwu bu ndu, was aimed at encouraging Ndi Nze na Ozo to continue to discharge their duties with fairness and truth to sustain the peace in the area.
Commissioner Don Onyenji informed them that governor is pleased with Abatete people and that he would communicate their message of solidarity to him.
He commended them for their various community developmental projects and affirmed the ingenuity of Igbo people which is total development of their environment, and wished Igbos should be given the opportunity to revive Nigerian again.
He commended Governor Soludo for his efforts in reviving Anambra State, and reminded the people about the achievements of governor Soludo’s hundred days in office.
The Commissioner sued for peace in all communities which will be achieved through truth to allow for the development of the state and the country.
According to report, Comrade Don Onyenji called for equity, fairness and justice in various families, state and country and noted that any country where there is crisis, there is injustice in the system.
