Ikpeba wants to see development in Women’s football in Nigeria

Former Super Eagles Striker, Victor Ikpeba , has called for further development of women’s football in Nigeria.

Speaking to newsmen, he appreciated the efforts and results gotten from the women football , but also said that there is need to develop the female football .

According to the 1997 African Footballer of the year, the women’s football in Nigeria has come of age and needs to get to the next level.

He expressed hope that one day the Falcons will get to the finals of the Olympics and world cup too.

The Nigeria Football Federation recently appointed American Randy Waldrum as the news head coach of the super falcons to replace Swede, Thomas Dennerby .
