Kebbi State Police Command has said that it rescued at least 10 expatriates working in a tomatoes processing plant in the Warra area of Nagasaki local government area of the state.
It was gathered that suspected bandits stormed the tomatoes company located in Gafara, close to Warra town, and kidnapped the expatriates who were working in the factory.
Confirming the incident in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the command, SP Nafi’u Abubakar, said four police officers and a civilian, however, paid the supreme price, as they were killed during the rescue operation.
